A guarantee gives additional rights to you as a buyer, but always for a fixed period and sometimes with certain conditions (determined by the manufacturer). In order to guarantee color consistency of LED lighting solutions, Philips uses a selection model within the production process. In addition, a selection is made of LED's of different "bins". This unique Optibin® technology ensures that the LED's from "bins" that are selected for a particular lighting solution are always fall within a 4-step MacAdam ellipse.

By mixing of LEDs in this highly uniform LED bins Optibin® Philips guarantees color uniformity for each lighting solution. Not only between the luminaires themselves, but also between the different production batches. This allows us to ensure reliable color consistency over time.
