The life of the L 36W/840-1 is 1.5x longer than the standard color fluorescent and the light output is 30% higher with the same energy. Also during this time, the light intensity remains higher than the standard fluorescent lamp. The L 36W/840 20,000 hours on HF ballast, (12,000 hours with standard ballast.
