PHILIPS MASTER TL-D Xtreme has only 10% failures 66,000 hours on HF ballasts (40,000 hours on conventional gear)! Ideal for places where one wakes tricky. Very long lifetime and less early failures lead to less hassle and lower maintenance costs. Special fluorescent coating gives good color rendering (Ra> 80). HF gear promotes energy efficiency and longer life.
The lamp is easily identifiable by the 'x-shaped green foot. Life tables are shown under 'more info'. The Philips Master TL-D Xtreme Super 80 lamp with G13 lamp base is Dimmable / adjustable at the right ballast. He is interchangeable with other fluorescent lamps.

Defective PHILIPS MASTER TL-D Xtreme lamp is easily identified by the black carbon in the lamp on the end to one side! If this is the case on two sides, it is often the ballast piece. Usually, the light begins to slowly give less light from 10,000 to 12,000 hours. Perhaps wisely replaced in time due to chance of hitting a malfunction of the electronic ballast. By wear of the lamp to consume more current which taxed the USA.
