The compact LED G12 bulbs are ideally suited as a replacement for ceramic metal halide bulbs. These bulbs are frequently used in shops, display windows, and museums. Installation: disconnect ballast, capacitor, and igniter before use. Only suitable for temperatures up to 40°C inside the luminaire. LED G12 bulbs are not suitable for enclosed luminaires because they cannot dissipate heat, leading to overheating, a significantly shortened lifespan, and even LED failure. Enclosed luminaires prevent air circulation, causing the electronics to malfunction. Use these bulbs only in open luminaires and ensure adequate ventilation to prevent premature failure. Therefore, remove the reflector and take off the glass/cover from the luminaire.
