The PHILIPS MASTER TL-D Xtreme 58W / 840 has only 10% failure 66,000 hours on HF ballasts (40,000 hours on conventional VSA)! Ideal for places where it is difficult to add. Very long lifespans and less premature failure result in less discomfort and lower maintenance costs. Special fluorescent layer provides good color rendering (Ra> 80). HF-VSA promotes energy efficiency and longer life.
The lamp is easily recognizable by the 'x-shaped' green foot. Lifetime tables can be seen under 'more info'. The Philips Master TL-D Xtreme Super 80 lamp with G13 socket is Dimmable / adjustable on the right ballast. It is interchangeable with other fluorescent lamps.
Available in light colors:
830 (Warm white), 840 (bright white) and 865 (daylight)
Defective PHILIPS MASTER TL-D Xtreme 58W / 840 lamp is easy to recognize due to the black breakdown in the lamp at the end on one side! If this is the case on two sides, the ballast is often broken. Usually the lamp slowly starts to give less light from 10,000 to 12,000 hours. May be wise to replace in time due to the risk of failure of the electronic ballast. Due to wear and tear of the lamp, it will consume more power which will charge the VSA.
