Daylight G13 lamp base lamp base, lamp shape T8

PHILIPS MASTER TL-D secura 58W/840 has been specially developed for areas where lamp breakage can damage products or processes, such as in the food industry, storage sheds, healthcare, pharmaceutical industry, sports halls, warehouses. These secura lamps are therefore shatter-free.

The lamp is completely covered with a protective plastic layer and can be recognized by the blue rings on the lamp end. The PHILIPS MASTER TL-D secura with G13 lamp base can be used on conventional and high-frequency electronic ballasts.

PHILIPS MASTER TL-D secura is also available as Philips Master TL-D Food secura, which is especially for meat display cases. Below are the Non food variants with the office and workshop 'colors'. This fluorescent lamp is dimmable/adjustable on the right ballast. It is possibly interchangeable with the other Super 80 lamps. The Master TL-D Food secura is not suitable for closed luminaires.

Available in lamp colors 830 (white) and 840 (clear white). Wattages 18W, 36W and 58W. The color rendering (Ra) > 85.

The lifespan of the PHILIPS MASTER TL-D secura 58W/840 is 1.5x longer than the standard color TL-D and the light output is 30% higher with the same energy. Also during this time, the light intensity remains higher than the standard fluorescent lamp. The Philips TL-D has a 50% failure rate at 20,000 hours on HF ballasts, (12,000 hours with standard ballast. This PHILIPS TL-D lamp with G13 lamp base is dimmable with a suitable ballast. Lamp shape T8

Defective PHILIPS MASTER TL-D secura 58W/840 lamp is easy to recognize by the black breakdown in the lamp at the end on 1 side! If this is the case on both sides, the ballast is often broken. Usually the lamp slowly starts to give less light from 10,000 to 12,000 hours. It may be wise to replace it in good time due to the risk of the electronic ballast becoming defective. Due to wear of the lamp, it will consume more power, which will load the VSA.
