The Philips MASTER SON-T PIA Plus lamp is a clear, tubular high-pressure sodium lamp with PIA (Philips Integrated Antenna) technology. PIA technology guarantees optimal operational reliability and reliable reignition (less than 30 seconds). A new, more robust construction with fewer weld points improves vibration and shock resistance, reduces initial failures, and extends lamp life. The outer casing is a hardened glass bulb. It is characterized by its excellent lumen-to-watt ratio and long lifespan. It offers exceptional reliability with 0% failure within the first 6,000 hours. It also features a universal burn mode.
Application . This MASTER SON-T PIA Plus is used in public lighting, sports facilities, horticulture, parking lots, and for illuminating buildings and objects, as well as other general public places where safety is a concern. It is often used in surface-mounted luminaires and lampposts. SON-T PIA Plus lamps with an E40 base are used with a conventional ballast, with or without an igniter. Suitable for use in enclosed luminaires.
The MASTER SON-T PIA Plus has a lifespan of 5% at 8,000 hours and 50% at 24,000 hours with an electronic ballast. The light output at 25°C can reach 150 lumens/watt, which is quite high.
Available in 2000K (yellow/orange) and in wattages of 50W, 70W, 150W, 250W, 400W, and 600W with an E40 socket. The color fastness (Ra) is 25 max. ![]()
