This Philips Master TL-D eco fluorescent tube has very good light quality. Please note that this lamp should not be used in refrigerators because it has an operating temperature of >20 degrees Celsius.

Lifespan of the Philips Master TL-D Eco is approximately 20,000 hours with a conventional ballast and 17,000 hours with an electronic ballast. If you use active extraction, the light output decreases. Color rendering Ra >80. Lifespan tables can be seen under 'more info'. This fluorescent lamp with G13 lamp base is dimmable on the correct ballast. The PHILIPS MASTER TL-D ECO is interchangeable with the other Super 80 lamps. Approximately 75 - 90 Lumen/watt depending on Wattage.

- with air flow around the lamps - in luminaires with active air conditioning (lamp temperature does not reach the required 25-35 °C, but only the room temperature) - in open luminaires/beams hanging close to air conditioning outlets or in cold air streams.

The lifespan of the PHILIPS MASTER TL-D ECO 32W/865 is 1.5x longer than the standard color TL-D and the light output is 30% higher with the same energy (67 Lm/Watt). Even during this time, the light intensity remains higher than the standard fluorescent lamp. Defective PHILIPS MASTER TL-D ECO 32W/865 lamp is easy to recognize by the black penetration in the lamp at the end on one side! If this is the case on both sides, the ballast is often broken. Usually the lamp slowly starts to give less light from 10,000 to 12,000 hours. It may be wise to replace it in time due to the risk of the electronic ballast becoming defective. Due to wear and tear of the lamp, it will consume more power, which will burden the ballast.

You can replace the PHILIPS MASTER TL-D ECO 32W/865 with 2 pins on each side by turning it gently 90 degrees to the left or right and removing it from the fitting. De-energizing the fixture is necessary for the lamp to burn, but it is also safer.
